Our inspiration for this one came from pre-existing combinations that work so well – The Quick Brown Fox offers coffee and cinnamon flavours that work wonderfully with the smokiness in the scotch; the bittersweet orange in Campari balanced out by the honey; the coffee and honey combo that you can find in any decent cafe. This is smoky, stiff, and palatably sweet. A great gateway cocktail towards classic stiff drinks.Â

40ml - Laphroaig
15ml - Quick Brown Fox Coffee Liqueur
10ml - Campari
10ml - Honey Syrup
2 dashes - Angostura Bitters
2 Dashes - Fee Brothers Orange Bitters
Stir all the ingredients in a mixing glass. Strain into a rocks glass over a big block of ice.
Garnish with a tidy orange twist.
